Political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections in Abia State are gathering momentum as Ambassador Emmanuel Josiah, Founder of the Evansino Humanitarian Foundation, prepares to officially declare his intention to contest for the Federal House of Representatives seat representing Obingwa, Osisioma and Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency under the platform of the Labour Party.
The formal declaration is scheduled to hold on Friday, May 15, 2026, at his residence in Eziama Nteghauzor, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State, by 12 noon.
Ambassador Emmanuel Josiah has continued to gain recognition across the constituency for his humanitarian activities, youth-focused initiatives and commitment to grassroots empowerment. Widely regarded as a philanthropist and entrepreneur with deep community ties, he is expected to unveil a people-driven agenda centered on quality representation, empowerment and constituency development.
As the visionary behind the Evansino Humanitarian Foundation and Evansino Global Outreach Fellowship, Josiah has built a reputation for extending support to vulnerable persons and promoting humanitarian interventions within and outside Abia State.
