Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa has felicitated children in Bende, Abia State, and across Nigeria as the country marks Children’s Day, describing them as “the heartbeat of our tomorrow and the pride of our today.”
In a statement issued on Monday, the grassroots mobiliser and political figure, popularly known as Dogo Bende, said children’s dreams, innocence, creativity, and energy give hope for a brighter future and a stronger nation.
“May your dreams be big, your hearts be kind, and your future be bright,” Chinasa said. “Continue to learn, grow, dream, and shine with confidence, knowing that you are loved, valued, and destined for greatness.”
He urged leaders and parents to build a society where children can thrive, access quality education, discover their talents, and pursue their aspirations without fear or limitation.
“As leaders and parents, we owe our children a society where they can thrive,” he stated, adding that investment in children’s future, protection of their rights, and inspiration for responsible leadership must remain a priority.
Chinasa encouraged children to remain focused, respectful, hardworking, and hopeful, noting that “the future belongs to you.”
He concluded by wishing all Nigerian children a happy Children’s Day.
