For years, our people have cried out. We have written petitions. We have made appeals. Yet nothing has changed.
We keep hearing that road construction has reached Abariba. But the Ameke Abam–Umuhu Ezechi and Ozuitem–Umuhu Ezechi–Abariba corridors are still abandoned.
These are not just village roads. They are economic lifelines. Completing them will cut travel time, open markets, improve security, and link Bende, Ohafia, and Arochukwu LGAs.
So we ask again: why has this critical road been left behind after years of representation?
Leadership is not measured by titles or long speeches. It is measured by roads you can drive on, clinics that work, and communities that are not forgotten.
As our current representative, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu owes Bende clear answers. Our people should not have to beg every year for basic infrastructure that affects daily life, trade, and safety.
2027 gives us a chance to decide differently. The people of Bende must weigh performance, access, and real commitment to development.
Dr. Chima Anyaso has shown consistent compassion, grassroots presence, and a clear focus on community projects. Many see him as a strong alternative for representation that delivers.
The future of Bende rests with us.
