The CityBoy Movement (CBM), Abia State Chapter, has announced the inauguration of its State Executive and Women Wing, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 25 August 2026, at 12:00 noon at the CityBoy Movement Abia State Headquarters, 20 BCA Road, Umuahia.
The inauguration marks a significant step in the consolidation of the Movement’s organisational structure in Abia State and the commencement of a new phase of grassroots mobilisation, leadership and political engagement.
At the heart of the CityBoy Movement is a clear political objective: to mobilise, organise and galvanise young people, women and other stakeholders across the grassroots in support of the re-election of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for a second term in office.
The inauguration of the State Executive and Women Wing is therefore not merely a ceremonial event. It is part of the Movement’s broader effort to establish a strong, coordinated and effective grassroots structure capable of taking the message of continuity, progress and the Renewed Hope Agenda directly to the people.
The newly inaugurated leadership will be expected to strengthen mobilisation across the 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State, deepen engagement with young people and women, expand the Movement’s grassroots presence and build the organisational capacity required for effective political participation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Women Wing will also play a critical role in expanding the participation and representation of women within the Movement, recognising their importance as key stakeholders in grassroots mobilisation and political engagement.
The State Communication and Media Directorate calls on members of the CityBoy Movement, coordinators, women leaders, youth leaders, stakeholders and invited guests to be part of this important occasion as the Abia State Chapter begins a new chapter of leadership, mobilisation, service and purposeful political engagement.
As the Movement moves forward, the message remains clear: organise the grassroots, empower our people, strengthen our structures and mobilise for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
