Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has paid a courtesy visit to Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States of America, Ambassador Lateef Kayode Kolawole Are, in Washington, D.C.

Kalu disclosed this in a post following the visit, describing his meeting with the ambassador and his wife as a pleasant and fruitful engagement.
According to the former Abia State governor, the discussions centred on issues of mutual interest, particularly national development and efforts towards ensuring the continued progress of Nigeria.

He expressed appreciation for the warm reception received during the visit, noting that it was a pleasure spending time with the Nigerian envoy and his wife.
“We had warm and fruitful conversations on issues of mutual interest, particularly national development and the continued progress of our dear country,” Kalu said.
The meeting comes as Nigerian officials and political leaders continue to engage on issues relating to the country’s development and its international interests.
Kalu, who represents Abia North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has remained active in national political and public affairs.
