A video has emerged showing the moment players of Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa shared food to Nigerian at Lagos traffic.
The football club on Sunday was in Ijebu-ode, Ogun State, to play their away game against Remo Stars of Nigeria in the CAF Champions League Qualification.
AbaCityBlog reports that Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa won the match with clear margin of 5 – 1 to advance to the next round.
Getting to the traffic in Lagos State, the players shared the remaining of their food to Nigerians hawking in the traffic. Some of the foods shared are, Pizza, sausages and grilled fish.
The video which has gone viral, has caused discussions on social media as many described the gesture as humiliating. Some opined that it is a humiliation for the South African Players to share food to Nigerians.
