Popular American Rapper, Yung Bleu has revealed he found out that his family is of Igbo descent directly from Nigeria.
The three times Grammy Nominated artist/song writer made this known in a post on X (formerly Twitter), adding that he found out his family history through his father.
“I confirmed I’m igbo from Nigeria. Directly”, Bleu said, noting that his father, while he was alive told him everything and how they were originated from the Igbo tribe of Nigeria.
He said, “I Went to my dad funeral yesterday and they told me my family history all the way back to Nigeria of the Igbo people.”
Reacting to comments that greeted his revelation, Yung Bleu said he made the revelation not to chase clout or intention to go viral to promote his music.
“I don’t need to go viral . lol please understand I have billions of streams and platinum records before I knew this or ever mentioned.”, Bleu said.
“My single just did over million streams in a week just last week. This information I just remembered my dad spoke on it to me. but family later confirmed with names and lineage I laid my eyes on this info. so I confirmed it lol 🤷♂️ rip pops I will pass this own to my children,” the rapper concluded.
