There was a strong display of unity and political resolve in Ohafia Local Government Area today as executives of OUK Movement, Reality Organization, and the All Progressives Congress (APC)—led by Hon. Sunday Ojisi, Engr. Prince Emma Nwosu, Hon. Jacklin Umeh, and Mr Chidi Ukoha—gathered to reaffirm their support for Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Drawn from the eleven federal wards across the Abiriba, Nkporo, and Ohafia communities, the executives marched with party faithful through the streets, waving banners and chanting songs of solidarity before their meeting.

The meeting, which drew hundreds of grassroots mobilizers and community stakeholders, was a resounding demonstration of political loyalty and confidence in the current leadership.
They celebrated the track record of Senator Kalu, describing his legacy as unmatched in Abia North. His work in infrastructure, education, and rural development during his tenure as governor was praised by many in attendance.

“He gave us hope when our villages were forgotten,” said Chief Anya Kalu from Asaga Ohafia. “The roads he built and the schools he renovated brought life back to our communities. He showed us that government could work for the people.”
Mrs. Joy Ndukwe from Elughu Nkporo echoed the sentiment, saying: “Even as a senator, he’s still building roads, supporting hospitals, and helping our children through education programs. We have seen the difference, and we are standing by him.”

The leaders applauded key achievements of Kalu’s administration, including the construction and rehabilitation of over 200 roads, introduction of free education, renovation of more than 800 public schools, and the electrification of over 150 rural communities. Under his leadership, the Aba General Hospital was upgraded to a teaching hospital, and agriculture was boosted through the distribution of millions of day-old chicks and initiatives in cassava and oil palm production.
As a senator, Kalu has continued to push for impactful projects. He has facilitated over 140 new road projects, led major reconstructions of schools and health centers, and earned national recognition as Best Senator for constituency projects in 2021, 2022, and 2024.

“This is not about party politics anymore,” said Ndukwo Agbai. “It’s about results and who delivers them. We’re here because Kalu delivers. And we believe in the direction of President Tinubu as well.”
The event concluded with calls for continued unity across Ohafia LGA, as the leaders collectively pledged their sustained support for the Tinubu administration and expressed optimism in the ongoing economic and infrastructure reforms across the country.
