The August Meeting tour took a glorious turn at Akoli Imenyi as residents turned out en masse to receive Chima Anyaso in what was described as an overwhelming show of solidarity.
The atmosphere was charged with joy, music, and prayers as women from across the community came out in their numbers. Clad in unity, they expressed strong support for the Governor of Abia State, H.E. Dr. Alex Otti, and all Labour Party candidates ahead of 2027.
Witnesses said the welcome was marked by dancing, heartfelt prayers, and a collective resolve to back the current administration. The event reinforced the growing grassroots momentum for the Labour Party in the area.
Speaking after the reception, organizers noted that the turnout was a clear signal of the people’s commitment to continuity and good governance.
“Akoli Imenyi, thank you for the love. The message is clear — Otti Again 2027! Labour Party all the way!” one of the coordinators said.
The August Meeting tour continues to draw large crowds across communities, with stakeholders describing it as a unifying platform to consolidate support for the Otti-led government and party candidates.
The event ended with chants of support and renewed pledges, including backing for “Oga Dika Oluebube 2027.”
