A Magistrate Court sitting in Aba South, Abia State, has convicted and sentenced one Mr. Iheanacho Emenike for impersonating a lawyer.

The court, after finding Emenike guilty of the offences brought against him, handed down separate prison terms on the three counts.
On Count One, the court sentenced him to one year imprisonment, while Count Two attracted two years imprisonment. On Count Three, he was sentenced to three years imprisonment.
The court ordered that the three sentences run concurrently, meaning that the maximum effective term is three years imprisonment.

The court also ruled that there would be no option of a fine.
