A 19-year-old Nigerian national based in the United Kingdom, Abdul-Rasheed Anjolaoluwa Oduola, has been arrested and charged in Barbados following the seizure of 23.4 kilogrammes of suspected cocaine valued at approximately BDS$1.17 million.

Oduola, reportedly from Dagenham, East London, was arrested by officers of the Narcotics Unit of the Barbados Police Service in connection with the seizure.
The teenager is facing multiple drug-related charges, including possession of cocaine, trafficking, possession with intent to supply and attempting to export the suspected illicit substance.

According to the Barbados authorities, the seized cocaine has an estimated street value of BDS$1.17 million, making it a significant narcotics seizure.
Oduola is scheduled to appear before the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court on Friday, October 2, 2026, where he is expected to answer to the charges brought against him.
