Civil Liberties Organization CLO Anambra State Branch has commended member representing Onitsha South 2 in Anambra State House of Assembly on platform of Labour Party Hon. Barr. Jude Umennajiego for leaving beyond expectations by listening, attending and solving complaints and problems of his constituents to the best of his ability.
It will be recall that the legislator devoted one day in a week for personal interactions with his constituents with the aim of assessing their immediate problems as well as proffering solutions and solving them, if he has the wherewithal.
We acknowledged and appreciated recently his poverty alleviation and empowerment program in which 126 members of his constituents selected across party and religious lines benefited with N50,000 each to all the participants after intensive three days training on Interior Designs and Decorations with fabolous entertainments, facilitated by Dunzeck Homes and Interior Decorations LTD held at Sacred Heart Parish Odoakpu, Onitsha.
It is cheering news and welcome development that the empowerments and skill acquisitions will have enduring positive impacts on the beneficiaries and their families. Pertinently, there is no doubt in our minds that it will help reduces poverty, unemployment, youths restiveness, idleness and social vices.

CLO is appealing to our political leaders to emulates Hon. Jude Umennajiego because according to Paul Kyrma “The goal in the end is not to win elections, the goal is to serve and change the world for the better which Hon. Umennajiego is doing and pursing virgourously.
We are appealing to all our political leaders, legislators to utilizes public funds and constituency projects funds for common good and interests not to wait until the next election to start emergency empowerments, skill acquisitions and poverty alleviation CLO posited.
