The Presidency has said President Bola Tinubu is unchallengeable and no politician currently has the capacity to defeat him in the 2027 general elections.
Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, made the statement on Tuesday in Abuja during a strategic engagement with over 100 pro-Tinubu support groups from across the country.
Speaking at the event tagged: “Meet and Greet with the Spokesman,” Bwala said the interaction was aimed at strengthening coordination between the Presidency and grassroots support networks ahead of the 2027 elections.
“We thought that as part of the strategy to spread the gains of this administration, it is good we connect with the source — the support groups — engage with them, appreciate them for what they have been doing, and then ask them to do more for the love of the country and for the love of the President,” he said.
“No politician in Nigeria today has the capacity to challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We are moving from renewed hope to recovery, and that recovery must be felt in the lives of ordinary Nigerians,” Bwala said.
According to him, Tinubu’s policy reforms and development strides over the past two years have restored confidence in the nation’s economy and governance system, making his re-election bid inevitable.
The presidential aide said the engagement was not a campaign event but a platform to build synergy between the government and its grassroots partners.
“People often wait until election time to look for support groups, but that is not the right way to do it. They are not tools to be used; they are partners in the process. They must be part of what the government is doing,” he explained.
Bwala disclosed that similar town hall meetings would soon be held in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada to engage Nigerians in the diaspora and sustain public enlightenment on the achievements of the Tinubu-led administration.
