Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu has presented a letter of recognition to billionaire businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana, as regional Director South East City Boy Movement.
Obi Cubana had a few weeks ago reacted to his appointment as the regional Director of South East City Boy Movement, noting that in due time he will speak on the appointment.
City Boy Movement, a political platform unveiled and funded by Seyi Tinubu to garner support for his father’s re-election in 2027 is filled with elites from private and entertainment sectors.
In a post shared by the official X account of City Boy Movement, Obi Cubana was pictured alongside Seyi Tinubu and others as he received his appointment letter and later, they sang Tinubu’s anthem to solidify their support.
Obi Cubana’s appointment had generated mixed reactions online as netizens wondered why such a prominent businessman will join the political platform even as the masses are echoing the hardship in the country as a result of economic policies of the incumbent government.
