The couple, widely regarded as a true “power couple,” have consistently distinguished themselves through humanitarian interventions, educational development, youth empowerment, and healthcare initiatives aimed at improving the lives of ordinary people.
Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, a respected public figure, astute businessman, and renowned philanthropist, has over the years built a reputation for selfless service and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people. His wife, Adanna Anyaso, an international businesswoman and humanitarian, has equally demonstrated exceptional passion for community development and women empowerment.
Recently, Adanna Anyaso empowered women drawn from the thirteen wards of Bende Federal Constituency, providing support and opportunities aimed at improving their economic wellbeing and enhancing their livelihoods. The initiative has been widely applauded as a timely intervention capable of strengthening grassroots development and encouraging women participation in entrepreneurship and community building.
In another landmark intervention, she sponsored the Ahuoma Anyaso Educational Foundation Abia Teachers Training Programme, which successfully trained over 800 teachers across the state on modern concepts, methodologies, and best practices in teaching and learning. Education stakeholders have described the programme as transformative, noting that it would significantly improve classroom delivery and learning outcomes in schools.
The Anyaso family’s commitment to education is further reflected in the continued sole sponsorship of the Ahuoma Anyaso Educational Foundation Free School, a humanitarian educational initiative now running successfully for over eighteen years. The school has continued to provide free and quality education to indigent children, giving hope and opportunities to families who otherwise may not have afforded formal education for their children.
Beyond education, Dr. Anyaso has remained deeply committed to economic empowerment. Through various empowerment programmes, he has provided unrepaid soft grants to youths in Bende Federal Constituency to help boost their businesses and promote entrepreneurship.
