Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo has threatened Mr. Peter Obi, saying his security will not be guaranteed when next he comes to the State.
Okpebholo made the statement on Friday while addressing his supporters and members of his political party, APC.
The governor said he received reports that the last time Obi visited to the State about three people died in a stampede after Obi left. Although, the reports was an accusation as no credible news sources to back it up.
However, Okpebholo, while addressing the crowd said Obi claimed he does not give shishi, but he goes around donating N15M to schools.
The governor went further to warned that Peter Obi should no longer come to Edo State without his approval, threatening that when next he tries it, he should be ready to take responsibility of whatever happen to him.
“Tell him, when next he comes to Edo State without my approval, his security will not be guaranteed and he should be ready to take whatever happens to him”, the governor threatened.
Peter Obi has received such threats from an APC governor. AbaCityBlog reports that Benue State governor, Rev. Father Hyacinth Alia had barred Peter Obi from visiting the State, citing security concerns.
The governor said Obi’s security will not be guaranteed if he dare step his foot into Benue State.
