The Labour Party’s candidate for Abia North Senatorial District, Chief Dr. David Ogba Onuoha Bourdex, is set to commence a weekly radio and online television broadcast aimed at engaging residents of the district on his vision and development agenda ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to a media announcement issued by his campaign, the weekly programme will debut on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, and will continue every Tuesday for the next month and beyond.
The campaign said the broadcast series is designed to provide the people of Abia North with direct access to the candidate’s plans, policy priorities and leadership philosophy, while creating an avenue for sustained engagement with constituents.
During the weekly addresses, Bourdex is expected to outline his strategic vision, core values and comprehensive blueprint for the development of Abia North. He will also explain how his proposed agenda aligns with the ongoing transformation drive of the Abia State Government under Governor Alex Otti.
The campaign described the initiative as part of efforts to foster closer interaction with the electorate and deepen public understanding of the candidate’s plans for economic growth, infrastructure development, education, healthcare and youth empowerment across the senatorial district.
To ensure widespread participation, the programme will be broadcast live on Flo FM 94.9 Umuahia, Magic FM 102.9 Aba and Masters FM 95.5 Uturu. It will also be streamed live on AF Television’s online platform, allowing viewers within and outside the state to follow the discussions.
The campaign called on residents of Abia North to tune in to the weekly broadcasts, describing the series as an opportunity for citizens to gain firsthand insight into Bourdex’s vision for the future of the district.
Chief Bourdex is the Labour Party’s candidate for the Abia North Senatorial seat in the forthcoming elections and has continued to campaign on a platform focused on inclusive development, accountable representation and people-oriented governance.
