Politics in Abia has never been a playground for the fainthearted. It is a battlefield where loyalty, grassroots connection, and national relevance collide. And in this arena, one name towers above the rest Orji Uzor Kalu (OUK).
OUK is not just another APC senator. He is a former governor whose political footprint stretches beyond Abia, beyond Nigeria, into the global stage. He is respected nationally and internationally, a man who has built bridges across divides, empowered thousands, and created jobs where others only made promises. He is not theory; he is practice. He is not rhetoric; he is action.
Governor Alex Otti may be celebrated for his current strides, but democracy is not a coronation, it is competition. Anything can happen, and others too can do better. That is the beauty of democracy: freedom of choice, freedom of association, freedom to challenge the status quo. OUK embodies that challenge.
APC in Abia cannot afford to be faceless. Victory has no substitute, and loyalty to the party must be word for word, action for action. OUK’s ongoing consultations across board are not mere political rituals; they are the architecture of consensus. He is laying the foundation for what could become the most decisive political movement in Abia’s history, the 2 million votes for President Tinubu in 2027.
This is not wishful thinking. It is strategy. It is grassroots mobilization. It is empowerment personified.
Yet, in today’s Nigeria, politics has tragically become a religion. People worship personalities, turn blind eyes to facts, and elevate sentiment over reality. But facts remain stubborn: OUK is the face of APC in Abia. He is the one with the experience, the reach, the credibility, and the machinery to deliver.
