One of the suspected kidnappers who reportedly invaded Yargeda village in Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara State, where they abducted three people has met his waterloo.
According to reports, while transporting the victims through a forest route, the kidnappers passed through Rini village. Residents of Rini intercepted the suspects, forcing most of them to flee, while one was apprehended.
The suspect was restrained and later killed by the mob.
He was reportedly hung on a water tank stand. An image obtained by AbaCityBloq showed his lifeless body dangling on water tank stand.
Rather than handing the suspect over to law enforcement authorities, the villagers reportedly took the law into their own hands. This incident highlights the growing frustration and desperation among local communities.
Meanwhile, police in the State has retrieved the kidnappers body for further investigation.
