A chieftain and public figure, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, has called on Nigerian workers to move beyond words and embrace decisive action as the country marks Workers’ Day and the beginning of a new month.
In a message themed “Time to Accelerate,” Dr. Anyaso paid tribute to workers across sectors, describing them not merely as a category but as individuals whose daily sacrifices continue to drive national progress.
He noted that workers remain “patriots in work clothes,” whose commitment and resilience have enabled them to pursue and achieve meaningful goals despite prevailing challenges.
Dr. Anyaso commended those who have remained consistent in their efforts since the start of the year, even in the face of difficulties that threatened to slow them down. He emphasized that motivation and encouragement must be matched with concrete action to yield results.
The message also carried a note of goodwill, as he prayed for strength, wisdom, and favour for workers, wishing them continued progress and renewed success in their various endeavours.
