The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, has declared that the 2027 general elections in Abia State will mark a turning point in the way politics is practiced in the area, vowing to end the era of imposed candidates and voter apathy.
In a post on his verified Facebook page, the incoming member of the House of Representatives said the mandate of representation rests solely with the citizens and not with political godfathers or backroom deals.
“2027 will NOT be business as usual” Dr. Anyaso declared. “The people will decide, their voices will be heard, and their votes will count!”
“The power belongs to the people,” he added. “For too long, decisions have been made over the heads of the people. That cycle ends now. Every vote in Bende must count, and every voice must matter.”
Dr. Anyaso, a businessman and philanthropist, said his administration will prioritize grassroots participation, transparency, and accountability when elected to represent Bende Federal Constituency in the National Assembly under the Labour Party platform.
He urged constituents to keep their Permanent Voter Cards safe and to remain vigilant throughout the electoral process.
