Abia North: No Senator Has Done What OUK Has Done in the Zone – Barr. Ody Ajike

A major stakeholder from Akanu, Ohafia LGAA, Barr. Ody Ajike who is a professional and technocrat has lauded the efforts of the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

In a statement made public on different social media platforms, Ajike strongly acknowledged that since the inception of Abia State, comparatively, no senator has done what Sen. Kalu has done in the senatorial zone.

Furthermore, Ajike stressed that previously those who represented Abia North at the red chamber went there to show class, share frying pans and peanut to constituents without major infrastructural developments or lifting the quality of lives of Abia North constituents.

Ajike made it clear that his interest in Orji Uzor Kalu is not born out of selfishness or for personal gain, rather for the benefit of his people. He noted that he isn’t seeking for contracts or monetary inducement, but he is just a professional working smart to contribute his quota to the society.

“I support OUK because I have seen his representative impact in my community and other communities within Abia North Senatorial Zone.

Having been around for quite sometime, you can aid me and acknowledge that no Abia North Senator has done so much within 8 years what Orji Kalu has done in our Senatorial Zone.

We had men whose objectives were prestige and those who shared pans to us. Swing around your location and point out what any past Senator had done and at the same time assess Orji Kalu.

I am only interested in Orji Kalu for the benefit of my people and not about my relationship with him.

You may be shocked to know that I am not a contractor and do not own a shop. I am just a professional, working smart.” Ajike asserted.

Kalu, who’s the Chairman Senate Committee on Southeast Development Commission SEDC, has won the award of the most performing senator three times consecutively in National Assembly for his remarkable contributions to his senatorial district.

The general view of 92% of Abia North constituents is that Kalu is doing exceedingly well for the zone and should be retained come 2027, stressing that they haven’t experienced such level of transformative and innovative changes since 1999 in their zone.
