The Abia Rejoice Movement has thrown its weight behind Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (CDA), adopting him as the sole candidate to fly the Labour Party flag for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was announced at a meeting of the movement’s leadership, executives, and stakeholders in Bende. Members said the decision reflects their confidence in Dr. Anyaso’s leadership and his vision for the growth of the constituency.
Speaking after the adoption, Dr. Anyaso thanked the Founder of the Abia Rejoice Movement and former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, CON, OON, for his consistent support. He also appreciated members of the movement for the trust reposed in him.
He described the unanimous endorsement as both an honour and a call to greater service.
“This adoption comes with added responsibility to serve our people with humility, integrity, hard work and dedication,” Dr. Anyaso said. “I am committed to justifying this confidence by driving initiatives that will bring sustainable development and improve the welfare of Ndi Bende.”
Dr. Anyaso further called on members of the Abia Rejoice Movement to remain united and focus on the collective interest of the constituency ahead of the 2027 polls.
He urged stakeholders to rise above personal ambitions and work together to build a movement that will deliver real dividends to the people of Bende.
With the adoption, the Abia Rejoice Movement has become one of the first major support groups in Bende Federal Constituency to publicly declare its candidate for the next election cycle.
